Guidelines for Official Transcript Requests

  • Maricopa Community Colleges will not withhold transcripts against a student related to a balance owed by the student, unless the balance owed was the result of fraud on the part of the student. Refer to Administrative Regulation 2.5.3(a)(3) for additional information.
  • Students with a financial debt need to resolve the balance due. For more information regarding your outstanding balance or to pay online, log in to your Student Center or contact your Maricopa Community College. When the account balance reaches 180 days past due, the debt may be referred to the State of Arizona and/or a collection agency.
  • Verify the acceptable method by which transcripts can be received by the intended recipient; hand-carried transcripts, even if sealed, are often not acceptable.
  • There is a $5 fee for each official transcript.
  • If your legal name, address, telephone, or email contact information has changed, be sure to update your information in the Student Center before ordering your transcript to ensure the most up to date information is reflected in your records.
  • Official transcript requests will not be held for final grades, degrees, and/or certificates to post to the students’ record, so review your records prior to submitting your request to ensure they are complete—no refunds will be given for students who mistakenly order their transcript prior to their records being updated and complete.
  • Maricopa Community Colleges has a combined transcript report, meaning that coursework from any of the 10 Colleges you have attended will appear on the same official transcript; there is no need to order multiple transcripts from each of the Maricopa Community Colleges you have attended.
    • No refunds will be given for students who mistakenly ordered multiple transcripts due to attending multiple Maricopa Community Colleges.
