Educational Construction Trades Partnership: Electrical
The Certificate of Completion (CCL) in Educational Construction Trades Partnership: Electrical program is designed to provide beginning knowledge, safety, and skills in the electrical construction trade. This program is an introduction to common construction to include use of tools, safety, codes, installation of circuitry, equipment, construction drawings, and a basic understanding of electricity. Students can seek employment as electrical technicians on residential and commercial job sites.

This program is offered through an educational partnership. Employment by the partnership organization is required for admission.
This program is not eligible for Title IV Federal Financial Aid.
Students must earn a grade of C or better in all courses within the program.
- Practice Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) standards in daily work.
- Recognize the interrelationships among the construction trades.
- Describe the implications of working in construction trades.
- Use, maintain and secure materials, tools, and equipment according to professional standards.
- Maintain the work space according to professional standards.
- Interpret construction plans to perform a task.
- Perform calculations needed for the electrical trade.
- Install electrical systems using appropriate codes and tools.

- Repair electrical systems using appropriate codes and tools.
