Business, Entrepreneurialism, and Management

Business, Entrepreneurialism, and Management Icon

Because our global economy starts with the small business on the corner and extends to the world’s most valuable companies, we’ve designed our business pathway to give you the knowledge and experience you need to be an economic and social leader at every level of your career.

The Business Field of Interest is designed for students who have an interest in business management and administration, finance, hospitality and tourism, culinary arts, and marketing. Programs and majors in this pathway lead to careers in accounting, management, sales, marketing, human resources, owning and operating a small business, and customer service.

If you are ready to find the Business, Entrepreneurialism, and Management program that is right for you, select the option below that meets your current goals.

Note: If a degree or certificate is listed more than once, refer to the most recent Effective Date for current course requirements. Students at any Maricopa Community College may need to complete courses at more than one of our colleges.

Associate Degrees and University Transfer

The Associate degrees in this list give you the opportunity for an in-depth study of your chosen field.

Many of our Associate degrees will also transfer to a four-year university upon graduation. With these, you can complete most of your general education coursework at Maricopa Community Colleges and have guaranteed acceptance to one of our over 40 university and college partners to complete your Bachelor's degree.

Be sure to check with your advisor if you plan to move on to a four-year university to ensure your degree program credits will successfully transfer.

Certificates

A certificate prepares you for entry-level work in your chosen field and requires fewer classes than our bachelor's degrees, Associate degrees, or university transfer options. There are several types of certificates available, including career, trade, and academic certificates.

Credits earned in a certificate program can often be used toward an Associate degree. For more information, speak with an advisor.
