Emerging Technology: Digital and Wireless Technologies
The Certificate of Completion (CCL) in Emerging Technology: Digital and Wireless Technologies is designed to provide a holistic understanding of technology, society, and policy development for topics such as but not limited to the Digital Divide, access disparities, digital literacy and the dynamic relationship between policy, technology and social well-being.

This program is not eligible for Title IV Federal Financial Aid.
Students must earn a grade of C or better in all courses within the program.
- Explore disparities in technology access across communities and populations, and develop strategies to promote digital inclusion.
- Focus on developing digital literacy skills and promoting equity by addressing societal and institutional barriers to technology access.
- Gain practical skills in conducting wireless surveys to assess network performance and design community-specific network plans.
- Demonstrate how to use geographical mapping tools to assess network coverage and optimize connectivity in underserved areas.
- Demonstrate an understanding of the core components of digital infrastructure, including wireline and wireless technologies, and their roles in supporting network connectivity.
- Learn to implement security protocols that protect wireless networks and end-users from potential threats, ensuring secure communication and data integrity.
