Music Industry Studies
Do you have a passion for music and want to break into the music industry? The Music Industry Studies program can prepare you for a range of career paths in areas such as music management, audio production, and disc jockey techniques.
If working in the music industry is music to your ears, this program can offer a broad background in music management, production, and entrepreneurship activities and provide you a strategic understanding of commercial music — as both an art and a profession. If your goal is to work in audio production, the program will give you hands-on experience in audio engineering and teach you how to apply the music and sound concepts involved in recording, live sound reinforcement, and sound design. It can also train you in disc jockey techniques to give you the technical skills to begin working as a live performance DJ.
Whichever path in the music industry you choose to follow, the Music Industry Studies program can make it happen, so start your journey today.
Students at any Maricopa Community College may need to complete courses at more than one of our colleges.
