Radiologic Technology

Radiologic technologists are key players in the healthcare field and make up a good portion of its workforce. They assist doctors in accurately diagnosing diseases and injuries by using medical imaging equipment such as an x-ray, MRI, and computed tomography (CT) to examine patients’ bodies and create accurate images. Radiologic technologists work together with other healthcare workers in hospitals, physicians’ offices, clinics, medical imaging centers, surgical centers, and mobile imaging agencies to ensure a positive outcome for patients.

Our accredited Radiologic Technology program is an intensive, rigorous course of study with hands-on clinical experiences. Our experienced instructors will educate you in areas of anatomy, physiology, math, physics, patient positioning, examination techniques, equipment protocols, radiation safety, and radiation protection. You will also get real-world exposure and experience in administering patient care. Upon successful completion, you will be eligible to apply for admission to the certification exam administered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
