Chief Operating Officer
Lee Ann Bohn assumed her current position as Chief Operating Officer in December 2023, where she reports to the Chancellor and closely partners with the Executive Team. As COO, Lee Ann plays a central role on the leadership team, providing an energetic vision for increasing integration, efficiencies, and strategic partnerships while helping to steer administrative and operational functions.
Her areas of responsibility include business services, human resources, information technology, and public safety. Lee Ann is a Board Member of the Valley of the Sun United Way.
Lee Ann began her professional career in the New York State Division of the Budget before moving to Arizona in 2000. She spent 23 years with Maricopa County in a variety of positions, including Assistant County Manager.
Lee Ann has achieved measurable, positive, and meaningful change throughout her career. Known as an engaged and communicative leader who creates a strong sense of team among her direct reports, Lee Ann is also respected for her ability to collaborate with groups inside and outside of her organization and navigate challenging issues.
Lee Ann grew up in North St. Paul, Minnesota. She received her Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Social Work from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and her Master of Arts in Public Policy from the State University of New York in Albany.
