Julie Dunnigan

Foundation President and Chief Executive Officer

With more than 15 years of nonprofit leadership experience, Julie Dunnigan has held executive roles across the U.S. and Canada, leading organizations in workforce development, healthcare, philanthropy, and community development. She has a proven record of building organizational capacity, strengthening governance, and driving revenue growth to expand mission impact. Prior to joining CSCAZ, she served as Executive Director of the Goodwill of Central and Northern Arizona Foundation, and her nonprofit career includes positions with the Canadian Olympic Foundation and the Ontario Institute for Cancer Research.

Julie’s commitment to service extends beyond her professional work, as demonstrated by her extensive board experience. She currently serves as Vice President of the Board of Arizona Junior Rowing, Inc. and sits on the University of Arizona Cancer Center’s Community Advisory Board. In addition, she has volunteered with dozens of local charities, further reflecting her passion for strengthening communities through hands-on involvement.

As a breast cancer survivor, Julie brings both professional expertise and personal insight to her work, championing evidence-based practices and holistic approaches to care. She is deeply committed to fostering strong, resilient communities where families can thrive.

Originally from Montreal, Julie is an avid world traveler who has explored more than 50 countries across all seven continents.
