Partner With Us to Support Student Success
At Maricopa Community Colleges, we are committed to removing barriers that stand in the way of a student’s success. Challenges such as food insecurity, rising housing costs, transportation issues, and unexpected financial hardships can disrupt a student’s ability to stay on track and complete their education.
According to a 2023 basic needs survey conducted by the Maricopa County Community College District Hope Center, in which nearly 6,000 Maricopa students participated:
- 43% experienced food insecurity
- 53% experienced housing insecurity
- 14% experienced homelessness
Many of our students are navigating these challenges while balancing work, family responsibilities, and coursework. Nearly half of our students are the first in their families to attend college—making access to reliable support systems even more critical.
Why Partnership Matters
Collaboration with community partners is key to expanding and strengthening essential resources available to students at Maricopa Community Colleges—ensuring that their fundamental needs are met.
By working together, we can create a meaningful, lasting impact—helping students overcome obstacles, persist in their studies, and achieve their educational goals, so they can build a better future for themselves, their families, and their communities.
