Continue Your Education With Us
At Maricopa Community Colleges, lifelong learning means continuing to learn throughout your life, whether you want to explore a new interest, build practical skills, advance at work, earn a certification, or take classes for personal growth.
There is no one way to pursue lifelong learning. Maricopa offers a wide range of opportunities through workshops, non-credit learning, short-term programs (such as microcredentials), college classes, and other events and activities you may find on our events page—so you can choose the path that fits your interests, goals, and stage of life.
Additionally, lifelong enrichment is not limited to the classroom. Across Maricopa, it can also include access to on-campus fitness centers, one-off fitness classes, and public events like sports games and performing arts exhibitions—offering more ways to stay active, inspired, and connected to the community.
Senior Citizen Tuition Rate
Maricopa Community Colleges encourages the pursuit of education as a lifelong endeavor. If you are a Maricopa County resident age 65 or older, you qualify for a tuition discount on credit classes at any of our 10 colleges. The discounted rate is 50 percent of the current county resident tuition, and all credit classes with open seats are eligible. The discount does not apply to clock-hour or non-credit courses, or to course fees or registration fees.
Eligible students will follow the standard enrollment process by starting with an admissions application, and discounts will be applied at registration.
