What We Offer
Tutoring
Trained tutors provide students with several out-of-class options, including in-person, online, drop-in, appointment-based, individual, and group assistance.
Writing Centers
Work one-on-one with trained literary tutors to master the written word at all stages—everything from thesis development to crafting an outline, putting your thoughts into words, and revisions.
Academic Coaching and Mentoring
Get the best possible college experience by benefiting from the expertise of academic coaches and mentors who will assist you with school-life-work balance, general study, life skills, and opportunities on campus.
Supplemental Instruction (SI)™
Benefit from trained SI leaders who collaborate with faculty and provide SI and group-study sessions designed for specific class sections.
Study Skills Workshops
Students may participate in a variety of workshops — available each semester — for study skills like brain theory, note-taking, learning preferences, and academic subjects like math and composition, and Health Education Systems Incorporated (HESI) test preparation.
ESL and ELL Services
If you are an English as a Second Language (ESL) or an English Language Learner (ELL) student, you can participate in conversation groups and circles, grammar workshops, Rosetta Stone® coverage, and other resources available at various centers through our colleges.
Additional Resources
A variety of resources are available to students in the learning centers, including textbooks, anatomy models, microscopes, calculators, Rosetta Stone® materials, group study rooms, ESL/ELL resources, and handouts.
